Born in 1975 in Landau (Rhino-Palatine), Christine Schneider completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter at the Cooperative State University DHBW Mosbach, specialising in wood technology. She has been a Member of the JU Südliche Weinstraße since 1989 and a Member of the CDU Südliche Weinstraße since 1990. From 1994 to 2019, she was a Member of the City Council of Edenkoben. She has been a Member of the District Council Südliche Weinstraße since 1999. From 2000 to 2010 and since 2014, she has been the Deputy Chairwoman of the CDU Südliche Weinstraße, Member of the Upper Rhine Council (2009-2019), Member of the district day of the Palatinate (2014-2019), Member of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament (1996-2019), and Spokeswoman for Agricultural Policy of the CDU Parliamentary Group (2001-2006). From 2006 to 2011, she was the Chair of the Committee for Agriculture and Viticulture of the State Parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate, and Chair of the Committee for Environment, Agriculture, Diet, Viticulture and Forestry of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament (2011-2016). She has been a Member of the Federal Committee for Agriculture and Rural Areas of the CDU Germany since 2014. She is a Member of the Bureau of the Group of the European People's Party since 2019.
