The Group of the European People's Party (EPP Group), driven by a centre-right political vision, is the largest and oldest Group in the European Parliament. Our roots reach back to Europe's Founding Fathers – Robert Schuman, Alcide De Gasperi and Konrad Adenauer – and our Members come from all of Europe's Member States.
Our goal is to create a stronger, more competitive and democratic Europe where people can build the life they want.
Our people are our economy. We are the world's largest single market, with transparent rules and regulations, and the EU has achieved a strong position in world trade, acting together with one voice.
We want to give everyone an equal chance to succeed, including small businesses, self-employed, researchers and scientists, amongst others. We believe that more European cooperation on health and innovation must be the means used to fight deadly diseases and possible future pandemics.
Europe faces its biggest threat since World War II. We are aware that democracy and peace in Europe cannot be taken for granted. The defence of democracy and our European way of life is a clear priority for us within the EU geopolitical strategy.
Young people are our future. It is important to provide high-quality and inclusive education in Europe, create job opportunities for them, protect the environment and fight climate change.
The EPP Group will remain at the forefront of the European future. We believe in a strong and united Europe, and we want to better it for the future generations to come.
We put citizens at the heart of our Europe. Do you?
EPP Group Members, like all Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), are elected locally by voters in their Member State to represent local people's interests on legislative and policy issues at the European level.
They are organised by political affiliation rather than country and may only belong to at most one political Group. The EPP Group is the largest of the European Parliament's eight political Groups.
The Members you elected are there to represent your national interest at a European level, guided by the overall position of the EPP Group.
