Agnès Evren was born in 1970. She graduated in Political Science (1993) and Political Communication (1996) at the University of Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris. She is now married and has two children. Agnès Evren has been involved in politics since 2001 when she entered the City Hall of the 15th district in Paris as Deputy Mayor, a position she held from 2001 to 2014. She then became national secretary of the UMP Party (the former Les Républicains) and became active in the Ile-de-France region working on topics such as education, culture and patrimony. From 2004 to 2008, she was CEO of her own communication consultancy company. After that, she started working in a ministerial cabinet for several Ministers working on education, employment, budget and finance. MEP since 2019.
