Greater copyright protection - another step towards the single digital market
The European Parliament has given the green light to common legislation on copyright management in the EU to thus incentivise the legal distribution of audiovisual and musical works online. In the music sector, it will also be possible to obtain licenses that will be valid in a number of Member States.
