EPP Group to host flagship Event for Youth

From the 5^th to the 8^th of September, the Esplanade Solidarność 1980 at the European Parliament in Brussels will be home to the largest ever EPP Group flagship Youth Event under the tagline YOUR VOICE, YOUR FUTURE, OUR MISSION. The EPP Group will host more than 450 young people from all over Europe in an EPP Group ‘Youth Village’ for the European Year of Youth 2022.

The event will run for three days and feature young political activists, young Members of Parliament, European Commissioners, Members of the European Parliament and many other experts. Together, through co-creation workshops, they will address the main challenges for the future of Europe and its young citizens: data protection, youth unemployment, smart mobility, sustainability, security and defence, and disinformation, amongst many others.

At the closing of the event, the best proposals will be pitched and voted on by the participants in the European Parliament Hemicycle and the winning team will have the opportunity to set the youth agenda at European level.
