MEP, Member of the EPP-ED Group since 2007, Member of LIBE Committee and Substitute-Member of ITRE Committee, Member of the Delegation for Relations with Belarus and Substitute-Member of the Delegation for Relations with South Caucasus. 2000 - 2007 - Chief Engineer of units 1-4, Kozloduy NPP, Bulgaria. 1997 - 2000 - Head of the Operation department at Kozloduy NPP. 1994 - 1997 - Head of the Engineering Support department of Kozloduy NPP. Publications: „Units 1-4 of Kozloduy NPP after 10 years of modernization”, 2002; „Safety upgrading of Units 1-4 of Kozloduy NPP”, 2004; „Units 3,4 of Kozloduy NPP – modernised in compliance with the contemporary international standards”, 2005.English, Russian. MEP since 2007.
