Born in 1968, Bratislava. He graduated in Economics at the University of Economics, Bratislava. He comes from a business and political background; firstly as a Business Director of Dunstav a.s. in Dunajská Streda, where he went on to be the Chief Executive Officer, and also Chair of the Director’s Board of Therma a.s. He is also Chair of the Supervisor’s Board of Agrostav, a company in Komárno. In 2010, he became a Member of the Slovak Parliament for the Most-Híd Party and served as the National Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, after that as a Minister for the Environment. He was also a Member of the Social Committee and the Committee for European Issues, a Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and the European People’s Party. He also served as a Member of the self-governing Region of Trnava. He became a member of the Presidency of the Most-Híd Party in 2014. MEP since 2014.
