Born in 1945. Ireland North West. Teacher, Public representative. Elected to Seanad Èireann in 1981-1982, 1983-1987 and in July 2002. Minister of State at the Department of Finance from February to May, 1995 and Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach, Department of Defence from 1995-1997. MEP since 2004.
