Chairperson of the Subcommittee for Science, 1992-1994. Member of the Environment Committee, 1994-1998. Secretary of State for the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the SR, 1998-2002. Vice-President of SMK-MKP for Social Policy, 2000-2004. Member of the National Council of Slovakia, 2002-2004, Vice-Chair of the Social Affairs and Housing Committee, Member of the Committee for European Integration, Member of the Slovak Delegation to the CoE Parliamentary Assembly.
