Twenty years of the EU single market: new initiatives applauded but original vision remains unfulfilled
The twentieth anniversary of the EU single market is a time to focus not only on new initiatives to extend its benefits but a time to complete unfinished work. That's the view of Business Europe, the organisation that unites most of the continent's national industrial confederations. EPP TV spoke to business Europe about its view of the past 20 years and its hopes for the single market as the EU looks to build sustainable economic growth.
