MEPs and MPs talk Green Deal, Brexit
EPP Group Members of the European and national parliaments held their last meeting of 2019, discussing policy-making in the coming year, including the Green Deal, Brexit and the future of Europe. Mairead McGuinness, European Parliament Vice-President, said the meeting was important to communicate with Europe’s grassroots. Vangelis Meimarakis, an EPP Group Vice-President, said national MPs were ambassadors, reaching out to European citizens.
