Spain: the European People's Party expresses its condolences on the death of Isabel Carrasco

The President and the Secretary General of the European People's Party (EPP), Joseph Daul and Antonio López-Istúriz, today expressed their sorrow for the death of the President of the Partido Popular of the province of León and President of the Prefecture of León, Isabel Carrasco.

Daul and López-Istúriz have conveyed their condolences to the family of Carrasco and to the members and leaders of the PP.''This is the unfair and absurd death of a person who, in her long political career, always worked hard for the best interests of the citizens. It is an irreparable loss'', the President and the Secretary General of the EPP stated.
