Belarus opposition leader Tikhanovskaya visits, MEPs urge more pressure on Lukashenko
The Belarusian people won't follow dictator Lukashenko's calls to prepare to war, said Belarus opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya as she visited the European Parliament.
EPP Group Members of Parliament called for increased pressure on Lukashenko through tighter sanctions, an eventual trial in the Hague, and support for the opposition.
